As a network of health and human rights activists, struggling for equality, justice, and the right to health, PHM-North America support the call for “A Just Harvey Recovery”. We seek to amplify the voices stressing that these disasters are not only natural but are also a consequence of social, political, and economic systems that have failed to respond to them while protecting the most vulnerable people and communities. We encourage support of local groups and organizations on the ground in the affected area.
