This video was made for the launch of the book ‘From India to Palestine: Essays in Solidarity’ in February this year. It traces the history of India-Palestine relations from partition (1947) until now. It’s interesting to see how India’s stand vis-à-vis Palestine and Israel has changed since the 90s from being pro-Palestine, to a more ambiguous stance with greater inclination towards Israel. As a major threat to India-Palestine solidarity, the BJP government now seems to be going a step further in cozying up to Israel.
